Simchat Torah night. We finish the year’s reading of the Torah, start it again from the very beginning, and celebrate with hakafot: circles of dancing and singing with the scrolls, kids, teens and adults together.

Simchat Torah celebration

Evening services, kiddush, and then every Torah scroll comes out of the ark and the dancing starts. Round after round of hakafot, for as long as the circle keeps going. Come as you are and stay as long as you’d like.
